Plate Bearing Test
Our industry-leading plate load test services use a circular steel plate (test plate) of specified plate diameter to assess load-bearing capacity and settlement characteristics of the prepared ground surface. We apply increasing load increments to the test plate using a hydraulic jack, typically using a load cell and other suitable plant to create the necessary reaction load. Our clear reporting includes the maximum load applied, plate size, and assessment of the equivalent CBR value.
CBR Testing
